In our plant, quality control activities are performed in all processes from raw material input to the final product to be offered to the client. Tests performed in our in-house quality laboratory equipped with modern equipment are grouped under 3 main categories: raw material, semi finished product and final product.
Paper (Primary Raw Material) Test
Ring Crush Test (RCT)
Is the maximum compression force the paper can withstand when perpendicular force is applied to the cylindrically formed sample.
CCT – Corrugated Crash Test
It is the maximum force the fluting paper corrugated by passing through 175 °C hot Fluting Machine can withstand. Its unit is kN/m.
CMT – Conconra Medium Test
It is the maximum force flutes can withstand without being crushed when a perpendicular force is applied on the surface of the fluting paper corrugated by passing through 175 °C hot Fluting Machine can withstand. Its unit is N.
Paper Tensile Strength
It is the maximum tensile strength the paper can withstand before tearing. Its unit is Kn/m.
Water Absorption (COBB Test)
It is the quantity of water absorbed by 1 sqm paper in a certain period under 1 cm high water column under standard atmosphere conditions. Its unit is gr/m².
It is the mass of 1 sqm of paper in terms of grams under standard atmosphere conditions. Its unit is gr/m².
It is the identification of the water content of the paper. It is quoted as %.
ECT – Edge Crush Test
It is the force required for the crushing of flutes when pressure is applied in parallel to the flutes of the corrugated cardboard under standard atmosphere conditions. Its unit is kN/m.
FCT -Flat Crush Test
It is the pressure required for the crushing of flutes when perpendicular pressure is applied to the surface of the corrugated cardboard under standard atmosphere conditions. With this test the flexibility, or in other words, impact absorbing resistance of the corrugated board is measured. Its unit is kPa.
BST-Bursting Strength Test
It is the pressure value required for the bursting of corrugated cardboard when a hydraulic pressure is applied under atmosphere conditions. Provides data on the endurance strength of corrugated cardboard against local strain. Its unit is kgf/cm².
It is the identification of the water content of the corrugated cardboard. It is quoted as %.
Auxiliary Material Tests
BCT -Box Compression Test
This test is used for determining the resistance of an empty box against perpendicular crushing. The result of this test provides us data on the crush resistance of boxes piled-up. Its unit is kgf.
It is based on transmitting light through the sample in certain spectrums and determining how much of this beam is absorbed by the sample.
Viscosity Measurement (Viscometer)
It is the measurement of deformation resistance of the under surface tension. Measurement unit in Brookfield method is cP.
